Question magnetic car mount

Please Login to Remove!

Hello fellas,

I am looking around the net for a magnetic car mount for my BB Bold.

You know I just wanna sit in my car and put it on the mount and then when I'll be getting out i just wanna grab the BB and and get out without using one hand to hold the device and the other to un-click it from the mount.

If I gonna get a magnetic mount will it damage my BlackBerry?
Or it is safe to do so?

Thank you

I'm not too familiar with mounts, but I know that my holster has a magnet in there and the BlackBerry reacts to the magnet by going into "stand-by", "sleep" mode. So maybe a magnetic mount might not work so well, but I'm not sure, but something to think about.

Yup,

I know that as well I also have the original BB Holster with the magnet.

I just think the mount's magnet gotta be stronger since it should hold the phone.

So I am kind of worried that it might mess up the phone.

There is a reason why big strong magnets and electronics dont play well together......
