Please Login to Remove!

Hello everyone this is my first post I have got a lot of great info on this site.

My issue is that when I am typing a text or email i used to push the alt key hold it down and hit a number key while holding down the alt key and the number would type. for some reason today now i have to hit the alt key let it go then hit a number key and it types in. how do i get it back the way it was i got used to it and now its a hassle to type. any suggestions?

Wirelessly posted

I'm guessing its just a glitch. Try pulling the battery.

sometimes the entire keyboard can shift a little, try sliding it around and if it clicks back into place you know the key was not directly on top of the button.

I usually press alt key and the key with an up arrow (next to 0), it will allow you to input a string of numbers. Press alt key to cancel this mode.

no need to hold the key down.

I've always just done ALT and then the Key rather than a combo keypress. I've always found the holding keypress to be flakey for me.
