Hi Gang

I found a Blackberry Storm, 9530, on public transportation, and I would like to contact the owner to return it. I placed an ad on Graig's List and I am waiting for someone to contact me.

In the mean time, I am hoping I can glean a view into its contents and find if the owner has any contact information.

Any suggestions, would be great.

No, can't backup without knowing the password.
The contact info would be on the lock screen if the user entered any. Apparently, they didn't.

I doubt that you can. The correct course of action, IMO, would be to contact the service provider (most likely VZW, at least in the US), turn the phone in there and let them contact the owner...

This is why the locked screen display should have a contact number if the BB is lost.

I once found a Curve, On the lock screen the owner had put the mobile phone number of the phone i had found!
