Default What cases do you use for your 8800 series?

I have the 8830, and I'm currently going back and forth between the case it came with, and the black silicone case.

I don't like having the belt clip, and the silicone case doesn't protect the keypad, so I was also looking at this Sena Case.

I just thought it would be cool to see what everyone else was using to carry their 8830 around

i have an 8800 and i use the black leather case that it came with.

At first i didn't like it, because i was used to the clip holster thing that came with my 7290. But i have had my 8800 for about a year, and the damn berry looks brand new. That case is awesome, and it protects it.

do it.

I agree that it protects the BB very well, But I don't like to have to always clip it to my pants, belt, or pocket. It gets annoying, and in the way. Especially when I'm constantly taking it in and out of the case while it's in my pocket, and when it's on my hip, it looks like I have a giant bulge, and can be very uncomfortable.

I use Fortte's horizontal leather case. Best case I have tried.

Edit: Found a post with it. Looks nice. I'm going to look into that.

I use Vaja Cases...They are a bit pricey and take awhile to arrive because they are made out of the country, but the best case for my 8800...I have the one with the flip-top and love it...It's a little more bulky but it protects my BB and that's the main thing I care about...

The Piel Frama offering is very nice, especially for the money. No issues with it. Just for kicks, I've got a Vaja equivalent on order. I sense it will be hard pressed to be that much "better" than Piel Frama.

I use Ghost Armor on my screen and and body, and then I use the leather case that came with it. It seems fairly durable since we have had it for about six months and normally I break holsters fairly easily. It would be nice to get a custom mount for my Jeep to hold it while I am driving cus it gets in the way of my seatbelt.
