Default Problem: AppWorld 1.1.0.35 Icon Disappeared After Update

Please Login to Remove!

I just updated AppWorld from 1.1.0.33 to 1.1.0.35 few minutes ago. After rebooting, the AppWorld icon just disappeared from my homescreen. I've enabled "Show All" and searched every folder on my BB but still unable to find the icon. Under applications, it is shown that AppWorld is installed. Any help on this issue?

Happened to me as well, I had to re-install (a second time) before the icon appeared.

i just updated appworld and after the initial reboot, the icon is still there. every time i update the OS however, the appworld icon disappears. a reinstall of appworld fixes it, but still annoying.

I had the same problem and no matter what I did, the App World icon would not show up. I was running the official T-Mobile OS (forgot which version) and then decided to upgrade to the latest leaked OS. The App World icon came back after that.

I have the same problem on T-Mobile.

Updated app world not too long ago. Reinstalled serveral times with several reboots and battery pulls. No luck.

It's installed under the app list, but no icon, won't even initiate. Went to appworld website via bb browser and tried to launch an app link in appworld, I keep getting an error about unable to open extension type.

I should also point out, the first time I downloaded it, it was over 900kb which I thought to myself (oh, its much bigger this time). It was upgraded through appworld, which was through the message I got that a new version was available.

When the icon failed to show up, I reinstalled it several times, these installs have showed it to be about 700kb and it was installed through the browser, with the same outcome with no icon.

Strange no?

Att got me to blackberry and they had me use security reset to wipe apps and data/ I left memory card alone. Then I reloaded app world .35 and it worked. I also did a backup and restored contacts messages etc.
