Post OS on BB curve 8300? BB 8800 for sale!

Please Login to Remove!

I was told that the BB Curve would have Windows Mobile as OS, but I'm hoping that it'd be using BB OS. Please make me happy that it'll be using BB OS!! I'm totally getting the Curve as soon as it comes out and be selling the 8800. Anyone interested to purchase the 8800? $600 CDN firm. Only less than 3 mths old by the time I get my hands on the Curve.

Whomever told you that Windows Mobile would be the OS has no clue what they're talking about. It will be a standard Blackberry OS.

Rumor has it that the 8300 is running BlackBerry OS 4.2.2.

Most assuredly not Windows Mobile.

Regarding the individual that told you this... it's probably best that you not speak to this person again. If you're feeling overly generous, you might want to simply suggest a psychiatrist, and then walk away at a rapid pace.

Suggesting a psychiatrist is not what I would suggest. It amazes me that some hapless sole would think that a BB would have Windows Mobile on it!

Thumbs up BB OS for the Curve

Many thanks for your responses! You made MY day! I totally knew that it'd be running on standard BB OS. Can't wait to get my hands on the Curve!!

This person just got it backwards, I am sure they heard that RIM recently announced that they would offer virtualization software to run the blackberry OS on windows mobile 6 and thought it worked in reverse too.
