My friend sent an email to my hotmail account which is pushed to my Bold. There are a couple pictures that were embedded in the email that wont show up on my bold. I went into my menu and selected "Get Images", but that didn't work.

I am running 4.6.0.216 as my OS (the officail version from the blackberry website) and my signal is sitting at 5 bars in 3G.

In my email settings I have "Download images Automatically" set to "yes".

I have tried the battery pull as well.

Can anyone help me with this issue.

Good question. To tell you the truth I only remember it happening with this one guy. It has happened a few times with him though.

He is sending the emails from an @rogers.com email addressed via his bold (if that helps).

the message cane sometime become corrupt or they can be stripped form the email as possible malisious content

I am having the same issue on the handheld with Hotmail only.
only Hotmail does not show the images , while gmail, enterprise etc..accounts are showing the images, "some times I have to select get images"

I don't know why only hotmail is giving this.

in the hotmail inbox "via the labtop " you can see an option where you can mark sender as safe "
before doing that you don't get the images on the labtop/desktop
but even after checking the sender as safe
you will be able to see the images on the labtop but not on the handheld.

does any one know about this issue.

I think that's what happened. I don't use hotmail for being too restrictive and featureless and all. They just started offering free POP3 which Gmail has been offering for ages. Hotmail still doesn't offer IMAP and doesn't even let you auto forward emails. I would suggest you to switch your primary email service provider to Google.
