I have few questions... I just got my 9700 today and it's locked to Tmobile and I'm with ATT I heard that if you unlock the phone you can't use the 3G on ATT is this true? And two I'm on the Horizon site and I'm kinda confused as to which service I need to purchase and generally how long does it take to get the code? If anyone could point me in the right direction it would be highly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Yeah.

I haven't used my free unlock though. :P My 8830 is little old and I don't care to use it on that phone. Maybe when I get my new blackberry in future.

Just stumbled upon this thread. Very cool that you are offering an unlock code.

I'd like to be put on that list of candidates as well please.

Thanks.

Locked or unlocked you cannot use 3G from Tmo on AT&T or visa versa. The radio frequencies for 3G are different on each phone.

Oh yeah I figured that out the hard way hahaha. I bought the TMO 9700 tried it and it didn't work so I sold it and have a ATT 9700 now. Thank you for the response though.

Don't know if unlock codes are still being given out... Just got a Curve 9300 to replace my Storm 9530.
Never used an unlocked phone before, would love to get a code!
