Default No Networks Found My A**

Please Login to Remove!

A lot of the times my bb will tell me that it can't find any wifi network when in fact it is sitting in front of a router.

I've tried that whole 'take the battery out' thing but that doesn't work.

What do I do?

What model BlackBerry does you a** have?

Your profile shows an 8310, which doesn't have WiFi.

The 8330 doesn't have WiFi either..

8120, 8220, 8820, Bold and 8900 are WiFi capable devices.

So you have an 8330 with Verizon or Sprint or some other CDMA carrier?

And you're not with T-Mobile either, the 8330 is a CDMA device.

Nice intro to the site BTW. Or not. :(

I never understand why potty language is necessary on a public forum. :(

Wirelessly posted (My Bold)

Under the battery, it tells you a model. It is an 83xx. The 88 is either 00,10,20, or 30

Let's start with that. And I admire your link posting

Since you don't have a data plan, I have nothing to add.

If you can't figure out what model BB you have you might have more of a problem than your admitting too.

based on his original post, i believe it is self-explanatory that he has a wifi-enabled blackberry, considering the fact the phone says that it can't find a network. Seeing as the 8300, 8310, 8330 do not have wifi, there would be no way that those phones would say no networks found.

And btw you can manually add a network

Keep in mind that even though you may be in front of a router, if the router isn't broadcasting the wireless SSID, then it's basically 'undiscoverable'.

Maybe this is the reason?
