go to options, advanced options , applications, find the name of the theme you want to delete, click with the thumbwheel and go down to delete

The themes aren't showing up under the list, not the Bell, Verizon, O2, etc ones that came with .300 and zen.

Connect to your phone through JavaLoader -u dir and you'll see a list of installed components, delete the unrequired packages this way, but i'd keep one of the basic themes atleast, something like bb insight list just incase you need to revert back to it at somepoint.

I've been wondering the same thing. Now that I have the Zen theme, I don't want to use anything else ;)

Just be careful with Javaloader.
Delete one wrong file and you will at best have a black and white BB and at worst a brick...

Out of curiosity, and unwilling to experiment, if you delete too much on the Bb is ther any way you can hard reset and get it back to factory defaults like with a palm, or does javaloader also allow you to delete critical files from the boot rom?

Wipes out all data and programs.
Then you reload the OS with Application Loader.

Navigate to the java folder (in my case it's C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\7130-v4.1.0.327_P2.1.0.26\Java), and rename the theme files for the themes you don't want by adding ".old" after the ".cod" in the filename. Connect the device, run the app loader, and the pre-installed themes will be deleted from your device.
If you change your mind in the future, simply delete the ".old" in the filename, run apploader, and the themes will be reinstalled.
On my 7130c, I deleted the Cingular theme, the two BB Insight Themes, and BBDimension Today. I kept BB Dimension Icon because I sometimes use the Zen Theme and I think it needs the BB Dimension Icon theme to be installed. It saved me about 3.5 MB of memory.
No problems so far.

As long as the person has the OS installed on their desktop, this is definitely my choice for newbers.

Thanks Jibi! Minimally invasive and leaves JL out of the equation. Appreciated!
