I recently had a bad experience with the Fortte clip coming off of the case. My replacement was the OEM leather case with clip. I personally think the OEM case is far better designed and costs half the price, but time will tell. Anyway, my $0.02, for what it's worth.

I've been very happy with my OEM case. I wasn't sure about the magnetic flap but it hasn't taken much to get used to it.

Thumbs up Bravo Cases

I found these on Amazon.com. I have ordered both the brown and black. The case is made very well, has a racheting clip and seems to have a magnet in it. Just an fyi.....
My 8700 fits nicely in them, a little loose; but if it were tighter, I don't think I could get the unit out. The magnetic closure is strong and secure. Not enough posts to post urls yet, so go to Amazon and type in 8700 case in the search.
Cheers!

Default blackberry case

Well i finally did get the oem leather case from shopblackberry, and i've been using it for a while now and love it. its one of the better cases i've had other than the magnetic piel frama case for my treo 650.

Thanks all for all the helpful info.

its "Out for delivery" right now so when I get home, I'll snap up some pics and share. I just hope it will fit well with my best skins ever full body shield on.

im crossing my fingers. I bought a krusell case for my 7100i (the open faced one with play through access) from mobilecityonline and I liked the universal clip system but didnt like the case all that much. i ended up not buying anything else and just "living" with it. i didnt like the fact that the holes werent cut to fit and it was REALLY bulky for not having a flap. i guess it was still a better alternative to the stock holster that wore out in like two weeks (thanks RIM for making CRAP nylon holsters...).

in any case (no pun intended), im gonna post some pics tonight. I also promised to post some pics of my full body skin on another thread. check there too.

SENA CASE. WORST CASE EVER.

first of all, the case is not even. like it slopes down the right, all the lines slope to the right. wtf. i dont know if its just this one or what but if im paying $50 for a case, it better be damn perfect. the flap doesnt close right and if i force it to shut (with the magnets) it doesnt stay shut after a slight jiggle or a step.

more on the magnets. let me tell you that the magnets are probably worse than $1 store refrigerator magents as far as strength is concerned. the flap wont stay shut whatsoever. well, wait, thats wrong, if i leave it on the desk and dont breathe, it stays shut, if i walk around, it opens. ugh. the clip is super cheapy. I like krusell, they have the BEST clips on earth. they are strong, sturdy, and take a beating (imho). this clip is crap. its super weak. like flexes and opens with the slightest bend. i am soooo dissapointed. i expected much better from a case by sena.

i already printed out an RMA and im going to mail this POS back tomorrow. im gonna try the covertec. im soo mad right now its not even funny. seriously. super pissed.

check out the pics...
