Hi,
A friend is going to sell me his T mobil bb 8320 for cheap and I want to know if I can just use it as a pda and the wifi? I'm w/ vzw myself so I'm not going to sign up w/ t mobile. Is this possible? Thx.

you can use wi-fi without a SIM card.
Id imagine you could use the address book/calendar/notes etc.

So I got the bb 8320 and it TOTALLY works as an awesome pda w/ wifi. No service plan what-so-ever! Connecting to wifi is so easy and already got it sync'd w/ outlook and downloading some free wifi apps. And yes, totally addictive!
