the biggest problem that i have with it right now is that its taking about a min when i click on the app icon before its gets to the white screen with there ioexc error before i would get that error right away .. now it locks my whole device for that minute or so

Cool here's the settings

sorry it's been a while. The wife was in town here's the settings that work for me

settings
chunck size 1024
buffer size 250000
debug level 1 or 0 unsure the diff
min play 45000
timeout 1 32
timeout 2 128
buffer type basic
all other thingys are set at no
these settings work great on my pearl in the vegas market on tmo
hope this is of use

radio stations on mine that work

80's retro
4.78.0.70:8002/
whiplash radio
whiplashradio.com:8100/
progressive techno
etn.fm:8120/
trance techno
etn.fm:8220/
80's rock & metal
stickman.purestream1.com:9506
country
grace.fast-serv.com:9056/

good luck to all I'm still trying new stations and taking requests to try. As for adding stations no go so far you need to edit the existing ones url first then after you get ones you want change the name to whatever you want

thx for trying to help me

i finally decided to delete this thing

i got one station to work that i was interested in but it was very unreliable it would play a max of about 15 secs then load then rewind then play another 5-15 secs

plus it would lock my device while playing/loading

i tried making calls to it while using this thing and only 1 of 5 got through

so im done with this for now

the station i tried was 48k in quality i tried others that were 32 or 28 (npr) but no go there at all .. all were mp3 encoded

so no go here for me .. but ill be keeping my eyese open if another app makes the same thing actually happen

Any update at all on the Bee folks? I'd love to give this a shot again sometime.

seems just to much work to get this app going....some stations work with different settings others work for 30 seconds or so.....to much of a pain to consider using reguarly.....we need a better solution...the idea of this is great though....

I finally download it and I am trying it out. For some reason, there aren't that many radio station choices. Maybe I am doing something wrong. I play with it some more.

...thats interesting. My 8700c only play for about 5 sec when I get all kinds of "Uncaught exception java.lang.NullPointerException". What are your settings? Can not get anything to play smoothly or even long enough to enjoy the efforts.
