No shit... that's fantastic!!! 1.1 megs for the program, and requires a 'mp3 player' on the device..

Any 8700 users try this out?

I have an 8700. The download worked but its not playing any music although it says it is. I think you must have an mp3 player built in.
It says: "now playing" but I'm not getting any sound.

Nice find. I wish I could try it but alas I am sure it would have data overages if I used it often. I only have 200MB/mo and with all the web browsing I am already close to that as is. I wish Rogers had true unlimited data. *sigh*

Works just fine on my 8700 with cingular except i'm in a really low coverage area so it's a bit choppy.

Will try it again after work when I'm at home to find out if it's any better.

If you read the web page it said that there still working on this app so give them some time to its better than what we had which was nothing and shows me that something like this is very easy to make into a wonderfull app that works perfect

This does not work correctly. Download at your own risk.

gives me a:
class java.lang.securityExceptionjavax.microedition.io.c onnector.http error of some sort. USing T-Mobile. Be cool to get it to work, but alas as all things mobile go- sometimes it's gold- sometimes it's lead.

It doesn't work correctly for you but obviously others have gotten this to work.

Please don't post false info.

What kind of problems are you having with it?

I'm getting some java exception errors too, but if you click the trackball (8100) it gives you the option to continue and then some stations work, others don't. Its a work in progress that I'm looking forward to.

I'd be interested in some instruction on how to set up some local Atlanta stations that have live feed. I think one of the problems is that most use Flash and I don't think this will handle that type of feed?

Well I got it to pull up the different streams and after clicking on one it does say now playing, but nadda. It would be nice if Stillwater had an EDGE network like EVERY other BFE town in Oklahoma, but then again- I guess that would be asking to much. Oh well.
