Default 8900 Headphones

I tried the stereo earbud headphones that came with the 8900. So. So. So I tried my wife's Koss stereo headphones and the music sounded real good, but the movies did not want to play right. One movie seemed OK one did not play unless I kept playing with volume on the phone and headphones. Is there a difference between the BB and Koss headphones that would affect the movie audio but not the music audio. I don't know if there is a setting on the phone for this problem, or if it is in the way I recorded the movies. They were done with Mobiola Video Studio on the auto detect settings and play and sound fine on the phone with no headphones.

Found it to be a bad wire in headphone able. But sound could be better.

Anyone have a really good stereo bluetooth headset like the Motorola S9 that will work well with music and movies. Doesn't have to accept calls.

Correction!

It is the jack. Not a snug fit and any movement cause loss of audio. Is this a common problem with the 8900?

I have a set of Sony NC60 noise cancelling headphones that I use with my 8900. They worked great with the cord that came with the headset. Then I lost that cord in an airport. It tooks several tries to get a replacement that would not make poor contact in the 8900 and that would also fit in the cord opening in the headset. The one that works well came from Best Buy.

I also have an S9 headset that works really well with music and movies played from the SD card. Right now it is not working so well with iHeart radio and Pandora. Even if they start out playing through the S9 I get an error beep and it goes back to playing through the device speakers.

The jack is a very snug fit on my 8900. Can you return yours under warranty?

Thanks for all the feedback,

I read the S9 don't work well with glasses?????????

The jack fits ok, but is very sensitive to the position in the phone, I think because of the 4 as opposed to normally 2 connections.

I would prefer bluetooth ones like the S9 or Plantronics Voyager, even though I will only use for watching movies. Can take back, but would hate to reset up phone.

If I get a new phone and swap sim cards and do a restore from my last backup, will EVERYTHING be exactly as it was? I know when doing a switch device from my 8700g to my new 8900 I lost some things. Not big stuff. I would consider trying a new phone, if the homescreen icons and all my downloads remain EXACTLY the same as if I never changed phones. Anyone know if that will happen that way? What about my 16gb sdhc memory card?
