I ordered a Proclip holder online last week and got it last nite. Very simple unit but works great. All I was looking for was a holder for the blackberry that would secure the unit in such a way so that I could see the screen in the car. Now with an upgrade to 4.0 and BBlight program I'll be able to see the screen at nite just like my old cell phone and know who's calling before I answer. The Proclips are fairly cheap to buy and for those with bluetooth capability this would be all the car kit most people would need.

I am thinking of getting a setup for the BB and my IPOD but the price is what is holding me back from buying it. Don't understand why they didn't offer a setup for a discounted price seeing that you need the holder and mount to get this to work.

I work at CompUsa, we have a Belkin car holder for the Ipod, the BB seems to fit in it well too. Just an idea for those folks looking. Its like 30 bucks or so.

If you are referring to the ProClip it's pretty simple... You may not want to use their mount for the holder. I will be using the 7100 holder myself and already have a Pro.Fit VSM in my car.

I think the pricing on Proclip is fair considering the quality and they are specific for the device.

I have a proclip with my 7100t. It works great. That with a Bluetooth h/s and I'm all set to go.

Could you provide the dimensions of the back plate? I'm not sure if I have a spot on my dash. Also, does this apply with screws or double sided tape? (referring to the 7100 with swivel)

Make sure the back plate is not too tall. Otherwise, the speaker will be blocked on some models.
