yeah, once you get them loaded, they take the names of whats stored inside the actual code. i think the accidental deletion is fairly common, as i've actually done it myself. i may end up splitting up the themes for 7200 and exclude the small icons theme and 7100 and exclude the default list theme. heck, i could end up splitting it up even moreso for the various carriers (if you have TMO, download this one, which will exclude the TMO and List themes). if/when i get some time, i'll do so.

Hey, this is really cool!! Seems that they all work on my 7280 (even the 7100 series though the icons are REALLY BIG!). Calculator is messed up with 7100 series themes, but I don't use it much anyway. Just wish I had enough memory to install them all at the same time ;)

I downloaded some 7200 series themes months ago (orange and vodafone) from a link somewhere on this board, can't remember where though ;( .. Would be nice if those 2 themes could be added to your master list, they worked much better on 7200 series than the 7100 voda and orange. Just a thought .. thanks again, Alan

the 7200 series themes are part of the package. there's 8 total themes. there's screenshots of all of them in the first post in this thread.

Yeah, Jibi did a great job on those. I have installed them on several BB 7100's and they work great. Thanks again, Jibi!

I used desktop manager to install the themes, and according to the prompts, they installed properly...

However, after my unit restarts, I go into the themes option and none of them appear.

Please pardon my ignorance, I'm new to the forum.

I read thru the other pages and didn't see anything that would remedy this problem..

This is a great post.. I've tried a few and left the Vodafone and Orange theme on my 7520... They're nice for a change...

But, I think we should have this thread renamed to "Jibi's Support Thread" LOL... =)

Thanks Jibi, I know it's a pain at times, but we all appreciate your help...

Default Abort Exception

I am using a 7100g. I downloaded and installed the themes using the desktop manager. Didn't seem like there were any problems during the install. I have looked through the other postings and don't see anything similar so I am asking...

My phone went to an hour glass for several minutes and then displayed Abort Exception - Reset. I acknowledge the reset and the dance replays. I have taken out the battery and SIM for up to 10 minutes and get the same thing.

Basically the phone is dead and unusable in this state. I know\understand\accept the "use at your own risk" stuff. Just hope someone can help me get my phone working again.

Also, I verified that I had OS 4.0 on my BB and downloaded the coresponding version of the theme software.

Found how to recover... Even though the desktop manager does not show connected you can still uninstall applications. I was able to uninstall the themes application and get my phone working again. Now that I had a way of recovery I tried installing again with success this time. Not sure why I had the problems the first time.

My favorite so far is O2.

Default Problem with resolution

Hello all. I've installed the themes no problems, but on every theme, apart
from default list I get a problem with displaying the top part of the screen. The icons on top(signal, battery etc) are kind of merged on top of each other.
Same with time. I have 7100t mobile, but cannot get T-Mobile theme to work well. Any ideas?

I get an error message when I try to use the O2 theme. The others work fine. Any idea why I'm getting this?

I use a 7100i by the way..

7100t

OS DM 4.1.0.8
HH v. 4.0.2.4.9

Under the 4.1 category on the first page of this link I downloaded and unzipped this:

Alternate Link: http://www.knology.net/~acidmax/bla.../themes_4.1.zip

Once I try to load it though through AppLoader I get the dreaded "No additional apps found...." message.

I did delete the "vendor.xlm file but still no luck.

Any ideas??

TIA

Did you install over the air or via USB? If you installed via USB just plug your BB back in, run the app loader again and just make sure they are all still checked. I've had that happen where I was sure they were checked but nothing installed after the reboot (all I had was black and white). I plugged it in and found they were not checked. If that's the case, just check the boxes and let it install again.

4.1 Themes WILL NOT WORK ON 4.0! It states this in the sticky. Remove them completely then try installing the 4.0 Themes. Also, once you got in the app loader did you go through the "add" function and then find the .alx file you unzipped?
