I installed it a few days ago on my BB 8310 on Tmobile Uk. Works fine and running smoothly. Thanks very much.

Wait a second, wait a second ... if SunCom doesn't carry the 8310, why the heck do they have the handheld OS listed on their BB Downloads site?

Default new AT&T 8310

I have had an 8310 from ATT for about a month. It came with a tools cd that my Mac won't read. I have done a ton of searches but I am not very good at this. can someone tell me or give me a link to download a desktop manager for my Mac. I did download Pocketmac for Blackberry but I don't think that is what I am looking for. Anybody

dunk,
Sorry, there is no Desktop Manager for Mac. PocketMac is all there is. There is another sync option called MissingSync but it still won't do what Desktop Manager does. You'll need to borrow a friends PC if you can't load into Parallels or BootCamp.

Default Thanks

Thanks for the reply John, I did do another simple search and found that but you beat me to the answer before I could edit my post. I am doing a partition for bootcamp so i guess I will have to do it that way. Thanks Again

I'm running Vista 64bit, installed 4.3 DM, I plan on installing the new OS but I wanted some input with Vista64 and compatibility issues.... I do have an XP machine but I like making equipment angry

Thoughts?
Regardless I can't ruin my phone correct?

Can I install this if I'm using AT&T? (Link is to the SunCom download).

Yes. Just make sure you delete the vendor.xml file after installation to the PC as instructed above.

Yes, that's why I put that it's the same version.

It's getting to hard to keep up with all the new OS's to have a pre-edited .alx file for every OS. We wrote a FAQ for it. Here's how to do it:

Exclamation

8310 folks - the same OS was released for the 8320, so looking for some feedback from y'all 8310 folks. How has it been running, any spontaneous reboots or other nefarious behaviour that you've had/noticed/found? Any issues with any applications and their data connectivity and so on?

I see a few reports of generic "all is OK" which is good, fishing for anyone who's had problems as well. Let us know how it's going...
