Highly recommended if you do not currently use, or do not plan to use a skin case with your device. The additional width of the battery and accompanying door preclude the use of skin cases as of current.

I use this extended battery with the Fortte STi Verticle Pouch (for extended battery). The extra life of the battery is well worth the cost. It is a bit bulkier, but fits well in the Fortte leather case.

I bought the extended battery and frankly I can't see much change. I can't figure it out. My talk/e-mail/internet browsing are not any different than before, but I still have to recharge at about the same interval. I'm pretty disappointed overall.

The extended battery I bought back in April/May and wasn't complimentary about above is now hammered. I can barely get 24 hours of battery life out of it. I am going to give the SEIDO 2400 mah battery a try. It has to be better. I hope I get more than 4 months of service out of it.

I completely agree....I love the extended battery. My original battery could go anywhere from 2-4 days with my regular usage. I can take my phone with the extended battery up to 6 or so days without needing to charge...I use email all the time, and have im clients such as jivetalk running pretty much all day....The extra thickness of the battery really makes the phone easier for me to handle too. Recommend the extended battery!!! Fits well in my hydrofoam case too, very snug and secure.

Well, in the "lessons learned" category, while reading around in these fora about batteries I saw a couple of comments about the wall chargers not doing a good job of charging, so I tried charging my first BB extended life battery via USA off the laptop (I rarely fire up the laptop at home any more now that I have the BB to monitor company e mails and my personal laptop has one of these drive in theater screens on it) and it charged up and has lasted for days. So it wasn't the battery, it was the wall charger. What is up with that? So I apologize for the bad press. I did receive the SEIDO but haven't taken it out of the box yet.
