Probably nothing different than is what already offered. They already have BBs so a new model wouldn't change anything.

I thought people said Verizon is one of the better for data packages? Nobody else offers good service in my area so I've never compared.

I lost my 7750 so I have been asking our Company's major client account rep about new products, etc... He indicated that he had just found out it would be available first week of November; however, he indicated that it would definitely be available before Thanksgiving but probably not the first week of November.

I've seen posts from others that actually end up loving the new feature. Not sure about it myself though.

someone previously mentioned a rumored November 4th release date for the 7130e on Verizon...

does anybody know if this is still possible or have any other info on this phone?

Anybody know what the price of voice+data will be on this new phone? I'm guessing this isn't aimed at purely corporate customers - so would they offer a lower priced package? If I remember correctly, last time i did a head to head of Tmobile 500 mins + unlimited data and Verizon's equivelent package, verizon was significantly more expensive.

Nothing firm yet. Still rumored for mid-November.

I asked the Verizon person who is the National Account Manager for our company if she had any updates and all she said to me was "very very soon."

I'm getting ANTSY!

Cool 7130e will be released in January

We just spoke with our corporate rep and January seems to be the GO date for them!

The suretype sucks... at least in my opinion. It's way more of a pain that just hitting the key a second time. And Nov 4th i believe is way early. The work my company is doing with this phone for Verizon is suppose to be done with the release of it and its not looking to be done till late November on our side [which i think is coordinated]. But I have not heard any official word from Verizon cause I dont talk to the reps. So dont quote me on that.

From my sources (not VZW reps) mid-November is still the target date. Can it slip? Sure, but that's what a target date is.

Bell Canada announced the 7130e, but with no date:
http://marketnews.ca/news_detail.asp?nid=1194

Here's their product page, with a diff pic than we've seen before:
http://www.businessonthego1.com/engl...ry_bb7130e.asp

Will Verizon's be the same?

Somewhat. I posted a picture on the 1st page of this post of the Verizon version.... note the housing color is silver.

I played with it the other day at a vendor event. It is a little slimmer and longer than my 7250. It is built to feel more like a phone. At least it does have a speaker phone. It feels solid. I liked it, it will just take a while to get used to the keyboard. The display was bright and beautiful. I will likely switch.
