I'm new to this forum and new to Blackberry. Just purchased a Storm2. I like it a lot, but theirs a few issues I'm still learning. One being inbound ringtones for text messaging. It won't get off this "Ping". I need to set specific tones for all text's. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. I think I'm going to like this site. Thanks

Welcome to the forums.

You can configure that by clicking on the Sounds/Profiles icon. Scroll down to Set Ring Tones/Alerts, then expand the Messages section and select the options you want for SMS messages.

juwaak68, I did exactly as you said. Did the same thing earlier today and I keep getting a ping, not a ringtone from my RT list.

Have you tried re-booting - pull out the battery and re-insert it?
