Default Solved: Receiving No more emails on BB device

Please Login to Remove!

Since 24 hours ago I do not receive emails on my Blackberry anymore.

I have done:

- Reset the device
- Resend the service books
- Re registered the HRT
- called my carrier/provider (no issues there)

I still can send emails from my device and all other internet related functions still works.

Tia, ... Rolan

Do you have "Leave messages on Server" selected on your PC email client?

What did you change right before this started? Add or delete an app maybe?

@Dubdub: Many thanks for your help.
I have done all the points mention in the URL you gave me. Still no result
I just had another call with my provider and they think something is malfunctioning on my BB device. Have to check that on monday.

Answering your question above:
I have nothing changed to my BB, the only thing I have noticed that my battery is draining much quicker.

I'll get back after my BB has been check out for hardware malfunction.

Again, many thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

I seem to recall seeing some reference to installation of the Facebook app causing significant decrease in battery life as well as causing email not to arrive. I know you said that you changed nothing, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

Have you removed and re-added the email accounts? Last thing I can think of since you tried alot already.

Default Remove Firewall setting whtin the Device

Firewall setting
=============
I removed Facebook as well, but nothing changed (still no incomming emails).

I solved this issue by removing the BLOCK incomming Messages from my Device:

Options-security options-firewall-remove thickbox on BlackBerry Internet Service setting (setting on my Blackberry 8800 device itself).

This solved my problem after many months!!!
