Default Mail and Call Log Data Disappeared

Please Login to Remove!

Hi folks. This week a few of our users have reported that all of their mail and call log data was wiped from the device over the weekend without any intervention from the user. One of the victims was one of our BB admins, so I discount the stupid user factor. Has anyone seen anything like this happen, or does anyone have any troubleshooting advice?

We have BES 4.1.4 on 5 different BES around the world, and run Exchange 2003. The SQL server is SQL2000 on a stand-alone instance. We have a little over 3000 BB users total, more or less equally dispersed among the BES.

Honestly I'm not even certain this is a BES issue as opposed to device issue, but had to start somewhere. Many thanks.

what devices are all of these folks on. Sounds like the memory leak issue that plagues some devices.

Are you certain that it was mail and call log and not SMS and Call Log? If it's the latter they are probably low on memory.

Default low mem

Yes, we narrowed it down to each device having low free memory before I checked this post. I'll read the other post. Thanks!
