Please Login to Remove!

i am having a bit of a problem. i cannot message users outside of my BES 4.0 win2k3 server.

i don't have any polices in place to prevent this. Does anyone have some tip's where i should check to see where the problem lies? i have called AT&T for support and they are no help. (none of my users can send not just and At&t issue)

if none of your users can send outside of the BES then it has to be something that has been set. give us a little more of a background on what you have as your setup please. BES version/messaging platform anything you have set in the IT policy, etc

You have a peer-to-peer encryption key set on your BES.
When this is set, you can only send PIN and BB Messenger messages to other users on your BES, and no one else.

If you want to send PIN and/or BB Messenger messages to people outside of your BES, you need to remove the peer-to-peer encryption key on the BES.

BES 4.0

i have tried the peer-to-peer option and it doesn't seem to work. i don't have the options stated in the FAQ.

this is how i navigated to it open BM highlight Blackberry Manager Globe icon>right Click and click on the option update peer-to-peer encryption key.

then i am prompted with this window:

i chose remove .. and uncheck retain... this the correct way?

thanks
