It is hard to tell.. I think I am listening to the midi format. I don't think it is it. the one I want it much faster, and doesn't sound as "Christmassy"

Re-reading your initial post I'm thinking you're talking about Beethoven's 5th Symphony which is not from the Nutcraker.

I don't think so...how many different pieces... ? I will check them out.I believe I know most of the popular ones if there are more/many than one.

I believe it is a part of the Nutcracker. Not sure if you are familiar with Color Guard or Drum and Bugle Corps. A Color guard marched to it, I remember it gettign faster and faster as the men and women twirled their rifles and sabres. I asked them on their website, but it was one they marched to when I was like 12 in 1980. We will see if they remember. But any more suggestiions, please keep them coming, I am dying to know. Another reason I think Nutcracker is because I think I have seen it on commercials, but it gives no clue as to which specific piece.

Thanks
Eric

Dude,

You are absolutely unbelievable. Your persistence in something that really didn't benefit you is to be commended. But how you got it with this thread is really beyond me. I guess it was the mention of color guard that did it. they were called Black Watch. I suppose a Scotich color guard or theme. Wait is Johnny comes....something part of that or is that separate because that was right after that in their performance. I could not find the ringtone to listen to...prolly not as popular as the others u mentioned, but I am downloading as we speak from somewhere. I will use Audacity to shorten and put on 8700. IF anyone wants a copy, let me know.

Maybe we need a theme based on an old TV game show here. Anybody besides me rermember "Name That Tune" . Just seemed appropriate here.
