Default Blackberry and Jabra BT5020 Headset

Please Login to Remove!

I was interested in buying the BT5020 Headset from Jabra and read that it is not compatible with BB devices on Blueheadset.com shop....is this true? Why would a Bluetooth headset not work with a specific manufacturer? Don't they standardize Bluetooth so that it is compatible between accessories and devices??

Does anyone use a Blackberry with the BT5020 headset that would suggest otherwise....please reply. thanks

Default I have one

The voice works very well. Its loud and clear. Pushing the button on the head set does not trigger voice dialing. I think that is why they list it as not compatible.

I bought the bt5020 anyways today. It looks really nice and so I'm going to test it out, but hopefully RIM and Jabra will play nice and a software update on the Curve will help the BT5020 work with voice command.

Just found out how that works....you have to hold down the call button and hear two beeps and than the voice command will work. Really nice headset. I'm like it a lot
