Is it true that BB Connect doesn't allow you to send or reply to PIN messages, but only to receive them? If this is the case, what's the reasoning behind it?

Does anyone here currently use BB Connect on any platform? Anyone from RIM on the air, even for a PM response? Bueller?

I have it on the Treo and I dont see a PIN option.

Thanks. I guess we'll have to see if the next release (or the non-Palm releases) may support this.

I had it running on a Nokia 9300 and it did not support PIN messaging.

I cant get my Outlook folder structure to appear on my Treo BBC. Other than that, I think it is a great service, especially when you hack the alerts with Butler to let it vibrate.

Do emails arrive around the same time on your BBC device as a normal blackberry? thanks!

Emails arrive more quickly on my BBC Treo than it did on blackberry. Sometimes the email arrives sooner on the Treo than in Outlook. I am very satisfied with BBC on Treo.

With the BBConnect software the PIN is software. On an actually BB the PIN is part of the device. This is likely to prevent the device from being used for spamming. Least, that's what I'd think.
