I was reading a thread where people were buying the 2.5 > 3.5 MM adapters for anywhere from $15 to $30??? I went to the Frye's by my house and picked one up for my buddy. It was only $2 bucks. Hah.

Just to make it 100% clear since there is so much confusion, 2GBs DO WORK with the latest Rogers firmware!!!

For those of you that are Tmo customers, the Rogers update will work just fine. I'm a Tmo customer and I installed the Rogers update and everything still works the same. Except now you can use a 2GB card. No sense in waiting for Tmo to come out with the update.

I just got that adapter in the mail yesterday. 2 gb card is working. Sounds great (Sennheiser PX100 headphones). Not as loud as my Dell Axim but loud enuff. Now I've just got to figure out playlists...

Talking Thx to all posters 4 nfo...

I am a new pearl owner, yes I did not rtm (left a letter out there). I even mistakenly bought a 2G "mini" SD card and quickly found out it didn't fit and was = bummed when I just read the BB support site. Quick thx to posters that advised a 2G "micro" SD card will work on Pearl 8100 with Rodgers firmware rev. Yes, I agree, get it together Tmo. Seems they often lag behind it seems as I read this forum, RE support and updates compared to other carriers. I'm trying the Rodgers update too. Heartfelt thx again... /Ciefish

Me too... I almost got the "mini" SD instead of the "micro" SD. Than I realized that the "mini" SD is to big so I bought the "micro" SD.
