Default Can not remove pernicious Amazon app.

Please Login to Remove!

Is that #¡÷¤ Amazon app so firmly implanted on my Z-30 that I am unable to get rid of it?
Also, when not in use, does it work and use resources in the background?
Too bad there is no warning issued before d/l regarding this issue.
Any helpful hints please

you did not say how your trying to remove the App. there are many methods depending on your service. corporate or non corporate.
Some company's block removal and some don't.

The Amazon app is a core app. Cannot be deleted.

Thank you 'tzac' and 'aiharkness' for your kind help. Indeed, the latest o/s update - 10.3.1.1581- implanted the Amazon app into the Z-30, under 'settings/app manager' no provision exists to delete this particular app. Even though I am very happy with the latest update modifications this little issue irks me a bit.
I have two Z-30s. Only one has the latest update. Can I somehow prevent the latest update to my as yet unupdated Z-30?
Thank you very much for your time.

The Amazon app actually made its debut with 10.3.0 but on the Z30 you went straight to 10.3.1.

On your other Z30 go to settings and then software updates and then options and turn off the automatic update.

Much obliged dear 'aiharkness'. Yes I have stopped 'automatic updating' on my other Z-30. I am very happy with it and can easily do w/o the, essentially cosmetic, tweeking. Thanks again for your time and valuable help....Heinzy
