Default Existing Meetings - Post DST Patch

Please Login to Remove!

Should I expect to see previoulsy scheduled meetings pushed out an hour after the DST patch is applied to a handheld (similar to what I see in Outlook on a desktop)? Sorry if this has been talked about, but I searched for existing meetings and did not find anything.

For the test Blackberrys I have upgraded, the meeting time for meetings in the delta window did not change. The handheld states the patch was applied (2007 DST patch applied).

The DSTQuery tool lists the handhelds with an error (0x88). I have seen some posts stating this error can be igrnored if the handheld says it was patched. However, I am concerned this may not be true. My expectations for a successfult patched system is that previously scheduled meetings would be pushed out an hour.

Am I right or wrong here? What are you seeing on your handhelds for your previously scheduled meetings once the patch is applied?

Don't worry, we have all been driven mad by this! If you saw what you expected, you would be doing it wrong

Have a good dig around here, as I think all of your queries have been mentioned somewhere as there are tons of ppl who have hit virtually every situation. I think most of them have come up at least once in the Main DST Thread. I think you seeing the hour difference is fine, assuming you haven't CDO-patched your Exchange servers and BES yet. If you have, you can worry :->
