Question Pairing Curve with Scala Rider headset (Bluetooth)

Please Login to Remove!

I bought a Scala Rider Bluetooh headset for my helmet and when I paired it with my 8320 from Tmobile it connects but when I try to recieve or make a call it terminates my connection. It worked once for a second but then said connection terminated again. I tried it with my old razr and my wifes tmo shadow and it works perfectly. Do you think the problem is with my BB>>>??? Any help would be appreciated!

This is the link to the headset for my helmet.

when you go to bluetooth settings then go to the device properties, do you have it as trusted? and what do you have listed for the device services?

and see if you can disable the VOX feature on the headset. It may not be playing nice with the device

I hit the answer button and it connected for a second and my wife could hear me for a second with a delay and then on the bb screen it said connection terminated. And now it connects but just sitting it terminates the connection. I dont know how to turn the auto answer on yet.

Do you have another blackberry device that is on in the area that may have once been paired with. I had a similar issue when trying to use bluetooth headset when I had Telenav open without my Bluetooth GPS device on (just looking for info) it would disconnect my headset looking for the GPS. Once the GPS was connected they both stayed connected.

Just a thought.

This was with my 8300 when I had it.

Nope that wasnt the case.....I tried paring it up with everything I have and found out from T-mobile that I had a defective bluetooth chip. So they replaced the phone and everything works fine. Thanks for all the help!

It works really well. The speaker inside the helmet is very loud and the voice command works good. It turns up the volume the faster you go. How it does it...I have no idea. My wife has no problems hearing me. I use a full face helmet though.
