Few MP3 ringtones that I "found". They're ~20 seconds each which is probably overkill but...

Ok I admit I haven't read every post here but I've read many and searched lots. The problem isn't not enough info but to much. In short, what format does the 7100i require for ringtones and how do you load them? I have a MP3 of church bells I want and can't figure it out.

By the way, you can get to it via your blackberry and download it directly onto the blackberry. No tranfering needed.

Thats because they are meant for your Blackberry to play directly. Not to be downloaded unless you have a player than can play adp files for you.

be wary! spyware site? are you talking about internet explorerer or including the handheld blackberry browser too?

Is there anyway to get a comprehensive list of sites for specific blackberrys. I know the 7100 stuff doesn't seem to work with my 8700, but I am having a hard time finding sites for the 8700 for rintones.

It would be nice to see a new modified lead in post listing sites that work for the various BB's.

Could be one of a couple of reasons. The file type may not be compatible with your BB or you might be trying to download using the WAP browser. Try using the Internet Browser. If that doesn't work, let us know what model BB (type myver followed by a space) and what file type you're trying to download.
