I am actually in NC ... so to become Cingular it was an actual cancel of my AT&T and start a new Cingular account. I did this about a week ago and bought the 7290 as part of that move (since my 7210 doesn't have 850Mhz, is locked by AT&T, etc.)

To be honest ... what I really want is a test drive of the 7100! I can't even get my hands on one in NC since we don't have T-Mobile.

So if I were to ask you if this is prior to end of year or in 2005 could you answer that? It might be I just enjoy my 7290 for 12-18 months and let some of the 7100 kinks/bugs get worked out

Are you on T-Mobile? T-Mobile had problems with AIM. I don't know if they fixed it yet, i ended up updating my BB's software and everything reset and now AIM works.
