Look at your picture attachment.
See the first icon, top row (messages), directly beneath that is another Browser Icon...

Re-send service books. You can do it from the device in the email setup app, or from your service provider's web site for their BIS portal.

I didn't think until after posting . . . Do you have a blackberry data plan? That is, the specific data plan for blackberry, and not just a generic data plan with your service provider?

Re-sending the service books will work if you have a blackberry data plan. If you don't have the blackberry data plan but you did have the wap browser before, I don't know what to tell you except call your service provider's customer service.

I never had a seperate Wap browser icon.
There was a browser icon, and you could change it to use WAP.

I think a lot of carriers did away with the WAP browser when they started requiring data plans with BlackBerrys. T-Mobile was the last US carrier I know of that kept it, but my knowledge of TMO is not really current.

Wait a minute...... Isn't the hotspot browser the same thing as the WAP browser now?

Wirelessly posted

Still had/have T-Zones on the 8820, running 4.5. The 9700 came with a different apn already entered and with web2go instead of T-Zones. I googled the new apn when I got the 9700 and gathered it is associated with the new 3G network somehow. At any rate, T-Mobile still puts a wap browser icon on the blackberry even with BIS.

I'm thinking they eliminated it due to everyone's insistence on having a BlackBerry data plan. When you upgraded your OS and re-registered with the network your carrier may have taken that opportunity to either delete the old wap browser service book or they stopped issuing it altogether. In the latter case, when you got your service books after the upgrade the wap service book was no longer available.
