Rogers should be releasing 4.5 a few days after ATT. I'm told June. ATT will also be releasing what's called a cross-device upgrade. One upgrade all devices.

It definitelly SUCKS and they haven't corrected the AUTO DIM bug where you set it to OFF and it still dims the screen. I would like this option fixed ok RIM!!!!!!, lol. I just think it saves a little more battery.

I think "the bug" you are referring to is just the fact that it doesn't put the device into the extra bright mode all the time. It still waits for bright light or sunlight.

I think it's a rumor
I heard a lots about 4.5.0.37 (release to partner), now is 4.5.0.40, then 4.5.0.60
Anyway, I really hope RIM will release an official OS version soon.
I am waiting for it from the beginning of May

ugh, I still have the memory leak. Worse than before, in fact. Just checked and I'm down to 12MB file free... was 20+ at install

here's to daily rebooting until 4.5 final is released

You could always roll back to a more stable release? You know, a non-beta release if the leak is that bad.

Usually 3rd party apps or themes cause the memory to drain like that.

I'll uninstall Empower and see what that does.. other than that, I only have Opera and the Google products installed. Finally, a 4.5 release that Google Sync will work with consistently

If I remember correctly the original 8300 and 8100's came with an "official release memory leak". Am I crazy or did I remember that happening about 18 months ago.

"Memory Leak" is somthing that is never going to be "fixed." People add 3rd party applications that use memory...java just has issues with this. I've noticed that some OS's seem to be a little worse or a little better but it's not something that is just going to be "fixed."
