Let's get to the point, we all LOVE BBM, but let's be fair it's annoying to not be able to message any other smart phone.

PingChat! is your solution. It is the FIRST fully functional cross platform instant messenger. With over 1.5 million users it will not be long before Pinging is the new BBMing.

Blackberry is in its final beta stages and we are looking for MORE beta testers, our android version is complete and iPhone/iPod/iPad has been on the market for over a year now.

How is this different from most public IM transports, such as AIM, Yahoo Messenger, MSN messenger or Google Chat?

How is BBM any different? This does not require a log-in every time, you will always be connected. It also offers send and receive notifications (I'm not sure if all else do)

If you really don't know the answer to that question, then you shouldn't be touting your own app as a BBM replacement.

What if I only want to video chat over wifi only to others that have the same exact model phone that I have? Can PingChat do that. I mean it doesn't get much more innovative than that.
