Default 6.0 - Can put pictures automatically in library?

Please Login to Remove!

Brand new to 6.0...change is hard! Seems like it's a hassle getting to the picture library. Is there a way to have pictures automatically save to the picture library? (SD card). Also, although the camera app is on my home/all screen, the "Pictures" app doesn't seem to be able to be moved to there. From the camera app, you can't seem to get to your picture library right from there. Does this make any sense? Ultimately I'd like a one click icon from the home/all screen to look at all my picture thumbnails from my SD card.

Thanks!

P.S. Lots of other questions about 6.0. Will scan around the site more or post separately.

From the camera app:
1) Press the Blackberry button, scroll down and select Options.
2) Scroll down the Camera Options to Store Pictures:
3) Change the selection button from "On Device" to "On Media Card"
4) Press the Back button and select "Save".

Yes you can. At least I can. When you move the Pictures app to the Home folder, it will end up at the bottom of the list.

The Camera app shows the last picture taken on the bottom left of the screen. Click on the picture and it takes you to the camera folder (where all the pictures you took are stored). You can scroll through the pictures from there.

I hope this helps.

Big help, thanks. Part of what threw me was the "camera" folder and the "pictures" folder. Turns out all my pix were already being saved on the SD card, but new stuff was in "camera," while old stuff was in "pictures." Seems like this worked differently in 5.0. I get it now.

Thanks also about moving the icon. Weird...no problem moving the icon from the Media folder. Could not move the icon from the Media tray.

I'm getting there...slowly but surely.
