Each offers specifications that allow users full advantage of features on the phone. some may not be needed by some and some may be what users demand. the only issue I have with new cell phone is the cost and non removable battery. Manufacturers found users will replace the phone more often when they need a battery repair on a phone they cannot simply replace the one inside. A smart move started by Apple.
The cost for some new phone reaching 1k seems excessive considering the cost to make is much less.
