Exclamation Address Book does not sync, ical does on Pocket Mac

Please Login to Remove!

I just did a major overhaul with my Mac's Address book, went to sync, NOTHING HAPPENED. My ical synced just fine!

I have never had a problem before, all of a sudden it just stopped working. I even deleted a contact in my phone to see if it would sync back but no, now I'm scared to delete anything in my phone.

I do not get any error messages at all when just syncing the Address Book so it appears like everything worked fine until I check my phone and there is nothing new in it.

I have uninstalled it, reinstalled it, upgraded to the new version, used sync clean, downloaded some patch, and have read every blog possible on this and none of the suggestions worked. I'm very frustrated by now cause I need my new contacts i made in my phone!

I have a Blackberry Curve 8320 on the T-Mobile network with the v4.2.2.180 platform. I am on a Mac OSX Leopard v 10.5.7

I did not upgrade my phone or computer before this problem occurred, it was just out of the blue when everything was syncing just fine before.

PLEASE HELP! I'm at my wits end with this

What are you using to sync - PocketMac or MissingSync?

Did you try a batery pull on the BB?

Might need to reconfigure the sync. Or perhaps delete the BB address book and then resync. Make sure that you have a good backup before you start deleting however.

Sorry I meant Sync Clean when I said missing sync.

I am using PocketMac. I've restarted my phone and computer each time before trying to sync after I did something.

PocketMac did absolutely nothing for me. My hand was forced to go with Missing Sync. But I'm still wrestling with how the "sync rules" work in the Blackberry + Mac world...

This is very unlike my experience with my old "obsolete" Treo 755p-- no-hassle syncs with self-resolving conflicts, with out-of-the-box OEM Mac software.

Right now, I'm at wit's end as to why my Mac's iCal was completely wiped out by Missing Sync... after syncing my wiped Curve... but my Contacts sync'ed fine... makes 0 sense to me and I can't afford to waste precious time troubleshooting with something that should work automagically in 2009...

Apparently BlackBerry Desktop Software is coming to Mac in September.

I won't believe it till I see it working with my own eyes but at least that is not that far away...
