Question +44 Recognition

Please Login to Remove!

I have recently left the country for a few days, and on return, my phone seems to have a problem recognizing +44 as being the same as 0 at the start of UK numbers. This applies for text messages, when i change the number prefix to '0' text messages are recognized from my phonebook, but the number is not recognized when a phone call is being received.

I have spoken to someone in the shop and they said there is a setting that can be changes that has been effected on my trip out of the country.

Can anyone shed any light on this setting which I cannot find.

Thank you

Did you already try changing the country code in the smart dialing options in the phone options? Go to Phone >Options >Smart Dialing

No sorry,

I have spoken with my provider today and they have requested that i return the phone so they can see the problem themselves.

I hope they find the problem soon as all my business appointments are on the phone looks like i will have to use i pen and paper for a while
