Default Host Routing Table problems

Please Login to Remove!

Hey, am I right in thinking I need to sort this host routing table thing out before I can connect to the internet on my blackberry?
I go to Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table

It says '* No Entries *'

I then click the menu button and press 'Register Now'

It then says 'Registration message queued. It will be sent once data coverage is available.'

Then nothing happens... Can anyone tell me how to get the registration message?

I've tried looking but can't find out what to do...

You need a blackberry data plan on your account.
Only then will you get entries in the host routing table.

Unlimited data service is not the same thing as a blackberry data plan.
Call Virgin mobile and ask that "Blackberry Internet Service" be added to your account.

I try to go to the BIS website for virgin mobile... But I have to create an account on there, and it says This blackberry device is not registered with your wireless service provider...

To register I need to do that host routing thing... So it is kind of like a big circle that I cannot enter to sort it out...

That's because its not registered, its not registered because there are no entries in the Host Routing Table.
To get entries in the Host Routing Table you need BIS on your account.

Call Virgin and ask that "blackberry Internet Service" be added to your account.

No.
gprs = NO data.
There are no entries in the host routing table. Because you do NOT have Blackberry Internet Service on your account.

I'm not sure how many ways I can say this before you actually understand.

No, that's not it. gprs means you DON'T have the plan that has been suggested to you.
When it says GPRS, then you should be good.

To get GPRS, you need a BlackBerry Data Plan. (BIS, Blackberry Internet Service)
It's been suggested several times already, but since you seem to be ignoring her, I'll give it a shot.
Call your carrier. Ask them to add a Blackberry data package.

You can register for a BIS account which then gives you push email, ability to use Blackberry messenger, facebook app, blackberry maps, almost all the IM apps (aim, yahoo, gtalk, msn), and other apps that require a blackberry data plan, including Blackberry App World.
