Default Does 4.1 for TMO 7290 fix poor volume?

Here's hoping that's one firmware bug that's fixed.....

i called them two days ago and the guy really had no definite clue...he said should be this week 4/2/05-4/8/05 but that I should wait a few weeks even after that cause the first batch will have bugs.

I was able to talk to a 3rd level tech, they said april 17th is the date. Who knows. I bet you are correct, gwemrick, maybe they are waiting for the 8700 before releasing. Either way. I don't know why I am so anxious for this since the HK CSL is working great. I guess I'm just picky, wanting TMO to release it like all the other carriers. Plus, wondering what i'm missing out on. Am i just a GEEK.. geez.

I guess i'm hoping the real tmo release is a little faster since it won't have the multilanguage stuff built in (not that i know that the multilanguage stuff is any different, nor do i know that it is causing the slight performance degredation, but thought it was a valid guess)

oh well.. keep on waiting........

I just spoke with someone at TMO. No sooner than June 06.

Why are they so far behind everyone else??

Welcome to BB Forums.

They are at the same level as Cingular. Maybe they are testing it?

Thanks.
