Just started playing but addicted already. High score is 27,683 and top word score is 219. Wondering if anyone knows how Word Mole scoring is calculated. The "Help" option says: "Letter usage: Use less common letters to gain more points." but doesn't give any specifics. Also, a tip on how to take a screen shot would be appreciated, as I can't submit any scores to the leaderboard here in Beijing.

My highest score was attained on level 48. 19,301. My next best was just under 14,000

My highest score is 24847 at level 48. The longest word I've found that it recognizes is "controversially" which gives you 214 points.

Use the word 'phonetic' whenever you can.
It is so satisfying to pick those lovely green peppers.

I'm working on my high score, on level 26 and 6926 points currently and about 1000 past my previous HS.

Using the bonuses and veggies is a must, especially multiples for a single word.

I have found some of the 2 letter words have 5 points while 3 letter words only 3 or 4 points, so I tend to only get 2 or 4 letter words now. These are good words for clearing those awful letters: q,v,x,z

I so want to try a TS to see how much better I could do. Bonus levels and getting words quickly when time is running out is really hard with a trackball!

My high score is 5127. Like many of you it drives me crazy that the dictionary is so narrow. It is so weird that you can use proper nouns but polygamist isn't in their dictionary.

For my x's I always try the following: exhibit, exhale, exile, exit, oxygen

For zs: froze, frozen, gaze, gazing, blaze, blazing, etc

I add -ing or -ly to any word I can for extra points. I wish there was a place to play it online, I feel like I'd do so much better at the bonus rounds with a real mouse or touchpad.

Oh god I remember this game. What a battery murderer it was too. Is Angry Birds available for the the Storm? If so, download it. It is HIGHLY addictive.

Have not found cheats, just have 20 words that I constantly use different forms of for high score of 10,190, ranked 6079 when submitted. Does anyone know how to review leadboard to determine what actual high score is.

Helpful words for me are:

thankful/ly
stand-ard-s/ing-s, stack-ing, start-ing/ers, starring

Hey,my top score is 21352 best word 216.best word to start with at any level is wonderfully(112 points)>wonderlands>wonderful>wondering>wonders.i have 3 similar words that i always used to getting 15000-20000 points a game.smartest>smarting>smarter>smarts>smart.Quilti ng>quilts>quilt>quills>quickest>quicker>quicks>qui ck.see what i mean?save alot of erasing letters time and try to add ing or letter s behind everything.Hope this help.oh btw the trick of getting a good score is at the early levels try to get lots of long words in because you have more time because of the lower scores to get but the points worth the same.

I am neglecting my housework. I'm at 3776 and it's making me crazy. By level 13 the game starts limiting the vowels and granting you less points for long creative words. I've been "almost there" so many times - and then type a wrong letter.
Sorry to babble on - but I was looking for tricks. 23,000? Good grief. What happens when you get through the four seasons?

Well thank god i found this forum. Now i know am not no King with my scores. 7412 and 153 words found on Level 26 with an 8520.

My top score is now 19,316, on the BB Storm, and it was somewhere around round 41-44.
My best bonus has been 40 for 720 pts.

I had plateaued at a high score around 16,500 and bonus of 39 for many months but just broke above those last week.

when it comes to the bonus veggies that pop up each frame I have gotten to the point where I get 4 at once, but never more. When you are getting 4 you tend to get enough bonus points to move you along pretty good. In my case, into round 35-40.

I try to start each frame with "Wonderfully" (like I saw someone else does) or some version, and it could up deviating to "wrestling" or "startling" or "Workings"

Considering how much I've played this game I'm really impressed with those that have done better
