i got my new pearl a week ago and i was wondering if i can go to any website from my phone and play a video in it?

i know you guys have some other post about playing videos but im deff slow on this video thing, other than that i got everything else pretty much figured out since this is my 4th blackberry.

The videos must be formatted for the 8100 (ie. avi, 240x180, 400bps, 30fps, etc.). So the answer is probably not. You would have to download the video to your PC and then convert it.

the blackberry CAN NOT play videos straight from the web as in like a flash player since it has no built in streaming video feature. Videos must be stored on the memory card or the BB memory and then they will play via the media player. there are a few apps in beta right now that allow for streaming video and sound but again those are beta apps not yet ready for mass use.
