Default Mini USB Cables

Please Login to Remove!

I've searched and found that it appears to be safe to use an older Blackberry USB cable with the Bold (which I can attest to from using an older cable at work).

However, is there any problem with using a mini USB cable from another device? I would think that the cord does not determine the current but the computer does... does anyone else concur?

Thanks.

If the connector fits then it is ok to use. I use whatever Mini-USB cable I have lying around in my Bold

I am using an iPod cable with my 8800 here at home. As said above, if it fits, use it.
