Hi folks ... at first hi to all, i'm new here so let's share the BB love :P

I have problem with upgrading my BB software (using Desktop Manager) from 4.6.4.314 to 5.0.0.592 !!!

Notice: I use:

PC
Intel Pentium 4 single core 3.12 Ghz
2 gb ram
os: windows XP Professional
service pack 3

Device:
BlackBerry Curve 8520 white
os:4.6.1.314


Let me tell you my problem ... I started with instaling Desktop Manager ... everithing was fine. Then i connected my BB device ... automatically asked me if i want an upgrade for my software ... (i wanted to upgrade it 2 months ago, cause of the some app requirements) .. then on the middle of the installation some error showed up ... it was telling me about the USB check box (device manager> Universal serial bus >Propereties > Power Management > Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power) .... it was ok i checked all of them ... then i clicked retry ... after 20-30 sec ... the same error .. and again, and again ... AND NOW MY BB DOESN'T START UP AND THE LED IS BLINKING RED (TWICE)) ......

NOW WHAT DO I DO ??? PLS HELP FOLKS !!!

PROBLEM SOLVED !!! ... i just rebooted my PC ... then i started the same procedure and everything is fine now ... the BB works perfectly ... you can LOCK or DELETE this thread now ...
