I don't know if im posting this on the right forum but i hope so or if not a few people will be mad. Well I'm having a problem with my less then one week old blackberry curve 8530 last night before i went to asleep the Lookout Mobile Security thing said that it needed to update and well i updated it and in the morning i saw that the screen said that it needed to restart. Well i received a phone call and when i finished with the call i pressed restart now once i did that everything turned off and restarted as normal but when the os had fully loaded it got stuck on the application permission page, and i said stuck because the trackpad doesnt move the cursor or anything, and it says these exact words: The application Lookout Mobile Security is attempting to access phone information. Well i can't press allow or deny because like i previously stated the trackpad doesn't move the cursor. I already tried doing soft reset, double soft reset, and hard reset and nothing helps.....any suggestions or any help at all please?
After a lot of work, I was able to fix the problem using the app loader. The app was getting stuck while trying to read my phone but got it to work once I disconnected my data cable from the computer. I then unchecked the Lookout Mobile Security app which caused the problem in the first place and connected the data cable again. The download got stuck once more so I disconnected the data cable form the computer again and it started to work again. Reconnected the data cable one more time and the app loader finished. Now my 8900 is back in business.
