I upgraded my Nokia to Blackberry bold 9000. Now I am totally hadicapped with out having a call recording facility in my BB 9000. I know it is illegal to record conversations with out notifying the person on the other end. But is there any way to record conversation with the permission of the person on other end?????? like instructions from my bose, shopping list from wife.

Can any one suggest, is there any third party software available for BB call recording???

I've look all over. Doesn't appear that BB allows it for some reason...although other devices do.

I have gone through different forums and websites and found that the discussion about call recorder for BB is going on for the last 3 years. The fact is that BB hardware/Os dosent support call recording software. So no point in waiting for such a software for BB. Ofcouse BB is a feature rich phone but it is not a perfect phone. Since there is no official confirmation from BB for a solution for this problem, the only soution for this problem is, dont waste time and energy, scrap the BB and purchase another phone with call recording facility. and make people aware that dont go for BB if they need call recording facility in their handsets. I feel sorry for upgrading from nokia to BB.. waste of mony time and energey... sorry blackberry.
