I had some horrid tracfone for a while. it was fine as long as you didn't want to make or receive calls as it gave me coverage virtually nowhere. I gave it to my 9 year old son as a present and even he wasn't dumb enough to fall for that old trick and gave it back after one day. "Dad, this phone is the suxZor. Can i have an iPhone or a Blackberry?"

The worst phone I ever had is the Treo 650 (I think). The reason I say "I think" is that I can't remember the exact model number, but it was a TMobile edition and I think it was the 650 vs. 700. I had it for about 8 hours. I bought it before lunch and after screwing around with it for about 6 hours, I boxed it back up and returned it. It would crash and reset. I couldn't even use it that entire day. The device was really heavy and I remember it being pretty expensive.

I also remember using a Palm Tungsten C at the time and I had my calendar, address, etc. in that device. When I went to transfer them into the Treo, it messed everything up! I remember looking at people's last names in the address bar and birthdays were in the phone number area. What a mess! That was a Palm to Palm transfer. I remember thinking back then that if this is as good as Palm is going to do, they are finished. It took me days to undo that nightmarish episode.

Thank God for my Blackberry!

I will never buy another Palm product in my life. I don't care how good it gets.

I think for me it was the Nokias in the early '90's with Cingular. I paid an ETF just to get away from the phone and the network. Calls would go straight to voice mail if I heard them. Lots of times, the calls wouldn't even register. It didn't dawn on me to return the handset and ask for another. <forehead smack>. I'm very happy with my Storm.

I am glad to say that since 1995 When I had my first Bag Phone to today and my 8310 Curve I have never had a bad phone. Each phone served me well and to the extent I needed and as I upgraded I always fully researched every phone before I bought it. Before my BB Curve, I had a Moto V551, before that I had 2 or 3 different Nokias, and my Motorola Bag phone. My next phone will likely be an 8900 Curve.

I HATED THE NOKIA'S though. I hated the stupid menus, the non-intuitive navigation, the stupid fascias that came off so you could change them (but often just fell off)
My mother has that phone and I agree it sucks bad. It looks and feels like a cheap kiddie toy.

LG Lotus. That phone was total crap. It would go from full battery to dead in 8hrs with NO USE! It rebooted itself constantly, lagged like crazy and was just total garbage.

All very bad and all very expensive plans.

Yes, I have owned most of these and all were extremely junky.

My Dad owned both of these bag phones back in 1986. Like $3 a minute, seriously. Remember the movie "Lethal Weapon"? It was in the scene where Murtaugh was asking the female psych Dr. about Riggs mental state.

My first phone back in 1993. NEC Something, something, can't remember.

I broke a bunch of these Sony's.

Another Sony I had.

My first Flip.

Wirelessly posted (Bold 9000, answers to HAL)

RAZR v3. I could tether my Palm e2 to the first RAZR but not the v3. Plus the original was John Wayne tough, just had a mentally challenged OS. Not the v3 though! Had to carry that FCKR around in a static bag lined with bubble wrap else a speck of dust might gouge a hole in the freakin thing.

Worst phone ever = anything that says 'Samsung' on it, I've had several and never could hear on any of them.
2nd worst phone ever = BB Pearl, screen too small for my eyes, keyboard too tiny for my fingers and SmartType to screw up EVERYTHING!

Best phone ever = Motorola V9m flashed to generic UI.
2nd best phone ever = Motorola E815, still rated by many on Howard Forums as the best.
3rd best phone ever = Motorola V3m flashed to generic UI.
4th best phone ever = My BB 8900, I don't miss T-Mobile but I do miss that phone!
5th best phone ever = My BB 8330, camera just SUCKS compared to the 8900 but the keyboard is better!

Worst phone I ever owned is definitly the T-mobile Sidekick 2008. It was garbage, and barely worth the cost of the plastic it took to make it. I'm so happy I ditched it, and got a BB Curve.

It seems that there are a few people who are less than chuffed with their Storms. Why so?

I've not had any experience of a Storm myself, my office is mostly Curves with a few iPhones thrown in for good measure.

The Storm, really that bad?

My worst but longest lasting phone, Sony Ericsson w810i. I get a lot of bad calls about Sony Ericssons not lasting very long. But I must say this phone lasted me two and half years, though I could not really hear out of it for 1 and a half of them. I had to roll my earlobe into my ear hole (I know it sounds weird) to plug that ear, then jam the phone up against my other ear as hard as I could. And I could only listen out of my right ear, the hearing difference between my ears was minimal, but was useless even trying on my left ear.

Hearing my bb for the first time was the best. It was so nice and loud and clear, I could have it a couple milimeters from my ear and still hear perfectly, almost too loud by comparison. I feel like if I'm in any spot that's not a quiet room, I can talk on my phone
