A friend of mine has it working on a Vodafone 8100, so I've taken a look. The Interface is ok, but there seems to be a lot of false info going on here.
Plenty of 'free' applications but when you click to read about them or download they turn out of be half-arsed trials.
Free and Trial are not the same thing RIM!
Free stuff like Facebook and trials like 'Lite' versions of games should be clearly marked.
Also just for testing perposes I found it odd that it download a app and only then informed me I already had it, surely it would check for before downloading? Oh well.
The new version of Facebook is STILL not available as well, which is disappointing.

Same problem, same network. I'm looking at this message thinking, "look you stupid thing, I have free mobile internet, and the service books that let me browse, stop being so stupid."
Would be typical that T-mobile are having problems, they never get things right first time.

I was thinking of calling them, then decided I really couldn't be bothered. But glad to know they know about it at least.

I can't find a way to cancel a download. Level won't download gives a network error. Other then that everything is working well.
I agree with the comment above "free" and "trial" are not the same........

Lucky you!
I'm not on BES so perhaps its affecting those on BIS for some reason.

It looks great, I'm surprised at how many apps is on there for the first day its live.
One question, when I buy and instal an app, does it get installed on my SD card or the onboard memory? I'm always trying to keep my data memory(ram) to the highest as possible, I don't want to instal to many apps and only have 10MB of memory left? Will installing to many apps affect my memory?

Yes, it will reduce the memory. 10 seems a little low, make sure they aren't any apps running in the background that you aren't using, delete sent messages, broswer cache and try a battery pull.
this should increase the memory.

Off topic a touch but can you choose where to install apps or can you move them to the SD card after installation? I have a 8900 btw.

Orange UK told me there was a problem on RIM's side. They will update as they know more.

it took me a few tries clicking the download link to finally get it started. it kept giving me timeouts. perhaps because of the insane download traffic the app is getting?
the app world is pretty cool, but a bit slow while navigating. hopefully this improves whenever we get an update. for now, it's a welcomed feature!
p.s. i wonder how much did viigo paid for their app to be the first thing that showed up upon opening???
